RE: Volunteer Work on a Resume?
I would just list it under experience. If you accurately describe the job
you did, what difference does it make whether you got paid in money or in
some other type of compensation (e.g., satisfaction, learning, karma,
barter, etc.)? Unless the work was somehow less rigorous than other jobs, I
see no need to specify the type of pay you received. Anymore than you would
have a section headed: Underpaid Jobs.
