TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Actually, I'm sure some people find it *quite* savory. ;-)
This particular situation wouldn't be a moral dilemma for me, since I don't care what consenting adults do or who buys pictures of them doing it. But it's an interesting point. If I were in the same situation, I would just follow my conscience... if it bothered me that the product even existed, or if I was asked to edit a document that I thought was untrue and/or harmful, I would have to bow out. Everybody's got a hot button -- porn, nuclear weapons, Fords, whatever.
