TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
In addition, IETM's are used mostly by the military, and most of the
military project writers I've know neither subscribe to this list or belong
to STC.
Again, I recommend finding mailing lists for G.I.'s. Though, your Israeli
e-mail address may make those guys skittish.

Rather than lack of interest, it's probably a lack of meeting your
requirements. I doubt that writing avionics manuals is all that
common these days and there are probably even fewer users of
them on this list.
