I think you will find that there are a lot of INTJs in tech writing and
editing.

However if everyone is the same , the team will fail. You must have a mix of
people so that a project can be carried out. Everyone has something to
contribute so it is a matter of finding the right mix for a particular
project.

that is you need thinkers and planners and doers andpeople who see the big
picture and people to concentrate on details etc
