Folks, I have spent my weekend writing up some killer macros for word. They
appear to solve all problems with lists (bullets and numbers). As a side
benefit, I am also including macros to style up non-styled documents. I hope
to SERIOUSLY decrease all word-related stress disorders.
I desperately need people to contact me offlist who have documents
displaying weird list behaviours. I will send you the macros, you can test
em as well.
My Alpha tests were extremely successful, and as the code is fairly KISS I
am confident that within a day or two we can release the final version.
It will be postcardware, and I will be making the source available to
everyone. If you run a tech writing or word support site, and want to have
the macros on your site, please also contact me offlist. If you are a wicked
propeller-head and can compile this stuff into stand-alones, contact me
offlist. I will be posting the raw code to all of these forums once I am
certain it really does solve your lists' attitude problems.
