I love the idea. I'll even present. Pick a topic:

Writing for the Telecom Industry - Is it all just networking?
Breaking into Tech Writing - Answers to all your newbie questions once and
for all.

Personally, I think the reason the STC conference gets so much attendance is
marketing! They have their face in your face all the time and besides, they
have it in great places.
