...another idea about sessions is to have a
round robin session of an hour to an hour and a half.
Depending on the number of mini-session presenters, you gather those who'll
come all into one room with a bunch of tables. The presenters are already at
individual tables, and the session attendees sit wherever. The presenters
present and discuss for 15-20 minutes (depending on the number of presenters
and the length of the session). Then time is called, and all the session
attendees move to the next table for the next presentation.
It's a great tool for talking about subjects that are new or hashing out
quick brainstorming ideas or items that don't lend themselves well to longer
presentations. You can make the session be around a theme or not. Anyway,
just my $.01 (typed it twice, came out "1" both times, so it's only worth
half, I guess).
