I'm on deadline (I have about an hour left to finish formatting this doc,
which came with a messy template) and suddenly, the bullets in my Word 2000
file have turned into question marks. First I thought only the style was
corrupted, but even using the standard bullet toolbar button produces only
question marks.
I have tried:
- examining the style to see if I could specify a font for the bullet -- I
didn't see how to do that; strangely, the bullet style itself doesn't seem
to be mentioned in the style format, although it says "bullet"
- checking Word online Help -- it hinted that the Symbol font might be
corrupted
- looking on the Web for a Symbol font to download, could not find
- running the Office 2000 repair utility
- uninstalling and reinstalling Office 2000
- searching the MS Web site for solutions, found nothing even close so far
Has anyone seen and/or solved this problem??? Can you lead me in the right
direction? Thank you very much!
