It's interesting to see the wish list for topics at STC or any conference.
As a former presenter at STC, I have some advice.
The topics that are given are selected by the STC committee from proposals
submitted by writers like you and me. If no one proposes to give a talk on a
specific topic, no session can be scheduled. Instead of hitting STC hard for
what they don't offer, step up yourself and offer to share the knowledge you
have (or encourage a friend to do it). In fact, consider offering the same
proposal to more than one conference: ACM, IEEE, or wherever.
