My manager asked me yesterday if I would
like to have my role changed to
Writer/Editor and to do 30% writing and
70% editing. I said yes. This change
will evidently involve some salary
adjustment, and I am unsure of how to
proceed if I am offered specific
amounts. Our normal reviews occur in
June.
My thoughts are tending toward seeing if
the offered salary is sufficient for me
to skip a June review and a possible
salary increase at that time.
My question to you is about what might
be generally considered a reasonable
amount for an increase in job
responsibilities.
