RE: Making them read the documentation

Heck.  I just answer their queries like so:

"As it says on page 25 of the User Guide, all you have to do is [copy/state
proc here]"

After a while, they get the point that there is useful info in the books,
and they stop calling/e-mailing/shouting/sending carrier pigeons.
