I'm not so sure about that. I'm running pdfMaker on NT and it works fine.
It is not always bulletproof, but I got it to run just fine. Perhaps the
problem with NT is the same that I faced earlier. I found that because we
were running Word off of the network rather than local installation,
PDFMaker wouldn't recognize that my system had Word installed and the
installation of PDFMaker (ie the Word Macro) failed.
I installed Word locally and have been making pdfs like crazy.

Adobe tech support told me that PDFMaker is not supported on NT, and indeed
we couldn't get it to run at all (works great on 98).
