I demonstrated this Word feature to a certified trainer at an Office 2000
bash in downtown Washington DC last fall, hoping it would have been fixed.
So far, well over 4 months later, I've yet to receive the explanation I
was promised. I was feeling mean and didn't tell him to not waste his
time looking. I don't remember Word 6 for Windows 3.1 behaving so badly on
numbered lists. I was working mostly with FrameMaker at the time and
possibly just never gave Word the opportunity to show its complete arsenal
of tricks. Does anyone know when it first appeared?
