Becca:

This problem was reported on the Framers list. Apparently Adobe is aware.
The proposed workaround is to use Shlomo Perets' TimeSavers program to
remove the hard-coded spaces, or search & replace within Word.

Shlomo's company is MicroType * http://www.microtype.com

Buena suerte.

We deliver our documents in .pdf form, created with Acrobat 4.
One of our developers sent us the following:

"I am running acrobat reader 5.0 on my pc. I noticed in the
documentation that there is an odd character in the chapter
lines in the toc (bookmarks). This seems unique to acrobat
reader 5.0"

We're speculating that the odd character may represent a manual
line break in Word. Has anyone observed anything like this? any
suggestions for what we can do about it?
