Subject:Query: Powerpoint 2000 to HTML Converstion From:"Jim Lowry" <lowry_j -at- hotmail -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Mon, 07 May 2001 16:20:23 -0400
Can anyone tell me how to get decent html output for both netscape and
internet explorer when converting Powerpoint 2000 to HTML?
When I save a PowerPoint presentation as web pages, they look fine in
Explorer, but less than optimal (or worse) in Netscape 6.0, even after I
select the "disable the features not supported in the Internet Explorer 4.0
and Netscape 4.0" checkbox under Tools >> Options >> Web Options.
When accessing the converted page in Netscape, I first get the following
message:
"This presentation contains content that your browser may not be able to
show properly. This presentation was optimized for more recent versions of
Microsoft Internet Explorer. If you would like to proceed anyway, click
here."
and then Netscape displays a rather lame version of the page or nothing at
all.
