I was going to come back with a gloating post about how I got the scroll
button to work on FrameMaker. Except that it's not working now. My work
machine got toasted yesterday and when they replaced the hard drive,
reinstalled everything, it quit scrolling <sigh>. Frustration, to say the
least, since I depend on the scroll button. I'm helpless without it!

Is this ring similar to the scrolling wheel on a scrolling mouse? If so, it
should work in Word (after you have given the work area frame the focus),
but I have never been able to get one to work with an Adobe product (except
possibly for the really great two-wheeled mouse I got years ago for $1 at
Best Buy the day after Thanksgiving).
