Subject:RE: Survey: how do you use PDFs From:Joy Brady-Beer <joy_m_brady -at- yahoo -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Wed, 9 May 2001 07:16:19 -0700 (PDT)
ONE way I've seen PDFs used that's VERY helpful to the
user, is in procuring government forms.
I was able to print off PDFs of my VA Loan eligibility
application from the Veteran's Administration, as well
as a PDF of a new card/name change form from the
Social Security Administration. These items saved me
time! I did not have to ask for a form, or wait. PDFs
are wonderful for providing forms over the web that
require the user's signature on the ultimate hard
copy.
Don't love them as manuals, though.
