Because I don't have a clue what I'm doing? My company is in the habit of
buying software (when you browbeat them enough) about 2 days before whatever
project you need it for is due... what I actually need is Pagemaker or
InDesign or a similar program <sigh>.
I'm pretty new to FrameMaker and haven't had time to read the manual, so I
didn't realize it was nothing like PageMaker. Anyway, I have this nasty
tendency to use text boxes for documents that are more for
marketing/advertising use. Naturally, if I was doing a Users' Manual, I
wouldn't have done this, but having your choice of FrameMaker or MS Word to
layout a marketing page...well...
Thanks for everyone's help!

Eeeek! Sounds like a scary layout!
There are only two ways to add pages: have them come up automatically by
designing the master pages to do this OR add disconnected page.
Do you mind if I ask why you are doing individual text boxes instead of an
automated layout?
