Re: Resume Writing
...I am starting to do more and more "corporate resumes"
as part of my job and was wondering if this is a standard
thing for tech writers to do...
When I worked for a major department store, *ALL* executive-level employees were required to write and submit an annual performance review of their work. This was a wonderful experience, since it meant that we all had updated resumes (since the performance reviews inevitably included 99% of the stuff we'd put in a resume, already worded the best way we could). All we had to do when job-hunting was change a few words here and there to make it more applicable to other fields and positions.
