Go to File, Page Setup, Layout tab, and check "Different odd and even". Click OK.

When you open the footer, you now have an Odd Page Footer and an Even Page Footer.

There you go.

The online help on this subject is one sentence long and doesn't really >say anything. does anyone know how to do this?


BTW, Nicole, here's what I found using the Index in Help. Where did you look?


Create different headers or footers for odd and even pages

1 On the View menu, click Header and Footer.
2 On the Header and Footer toolbar, click Page Setup .
3 Click the Layout tab.
4 Select the Different odd and even check box, and then click OK.
