Hi all,

I am facing the challenge of relocating and would greatly appreciate your help and feedback.

I would like to relocate to St. Louis, Missouri, USA (as my husband is joining a 2 yr MBA program there, in August).

Experience
Tech writer since 2.5 yrs in India

Queries
a. What is the scope for a person with my skill sets (as below) in ST. Louis/US?
b. How good/bad are my chances of finding a company to sponsor my H1 visa?
c. What would be a better approach, finding a job and then move to the US (if that is feasible) or move to the US and then look for a job?
d. Besides monster.com, dice.com, techwrl and STC, which are the other sources for finding jobs?

Skills
1. MS. Word
2. Robohelp
3. Programming - I have learnt Java, VC++, VB three years ago...therefore am familiar with programming concepts but my knowledge does not extend to understanding complex code.
4. Basic knowledge of Frontpage, HTML, Framemaker - Can manage to build a small website using Frontpage
5. PowerPoint

Thanks in advance

Sonia Kalwani
