Mary's suggestions are outstanding for textbook use in an introductory
program and probably at least a couple of those titles belong in every
technical writer's library.
I should clarify that my suggestions were more for the instructor's benefit
to help her with ideas for putting together a course outline, and that
"Managing..." contains information not appropriate for beginning students,
not necessarily for use as a textbook.
