ADMIN: What happened?

All,

In case you were missing your TECHWR-L fix for the day,
there is an explanation. There was some kind of power
outage in Palo Alto, California (where the Lyris server
and Web server are located) that, as we understand, 
involved bad things happening to a transformer.

Basically, the entire co-location facility housing the
TECHWR-L servers (and hundreds of others) lost power
for a total of 6 hours or so today. Additionally,
the Web server required some manual intervention before
it came back up, so it was down for a total of about 7 
hours. 

No messages were lost, all data remained intact--we just
couldn't get to it.

Now, back to the originally scheduled program.
