In our documentation, we've used the term "custom completer". The
command line interface provides a custom completer function to assist
device configuration. The individual items are referred to as "custom
completers". This is not copyrighted in any way, and I have seen similar
language in other command line interface documentation. I hope this is
somewhat helpful.
