Hmmm, now there's an interesting perspective. Don't forget "missing" tech writing. They always notice if they can't find something. Though several folks have posted reviews recently that mentioned *good* documentation.

My theory on doing a fabulous job as a tech writer (among other things): at
my most competent, I am invisible. That is to say, *bad* tech writing is
pretty much the only variety that gets noticed. You don't have to like it.
You just have to find a way to accept it. Or find something else to do.
