TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Mostly I just lurk (really lurk, unlike the current co-respondee, bless him,
whoever he might be!) but I like this thread. I sing traditional Irish and
some Scottish, mostly unaccompanied. Started in bars in New York and from
their to pubs in Ireland, England, Israel, parties, festivals and jam
sessions, even performed for and with UNIFIL troops from Ireland in the
Middle East.
I have also been known to speak or fake it in three to seven languages,
depending on the quality of the fuel.
