Re: vocabulary for web application docs?
I'm writing documentation for a web app, and am discovering that the old
vocab from MS style guide just doesn't cut it anymore. Does anyone have a
resource to share?
For example, in this app the user is presented with a list to choose from
and a button. When they click the button, the app advances to the
next...what? Screen? Page? Window doesn't quite work, neither does dialog
box.
I guess most of the vocab related to controls is still valid.
Thanks
