Subject:Re: Word or Frame Bi-Fold Templates? From:John Posada <jposada01 -at- yahoo -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Mon, 11 Jun 2001 13:20:22 -0700 (PDT)
Everything was fine with your message until the part about a short
deadline.
Short deadlines are NOT the time to learn something new...ESPECIALY
the software that will be used to write the thing.
Use what you know and meet your deadline. Word is a perfectly
suitable authoring tool for what you want. Infact, based on what
you've said, all things being equal, I'd have picked Word...and I'm
strong in both. Besides...how do you know that Frame is
bedetter...you've never used it...based on what you've heard?
Your message comes across as "dang it...I'm gonna use Frame if it
kills me..." The tools are to deliver the product...the prodduct
isn't to learn the tools.
