Congrats to APEX Publications Award Winners

Hi all,

The 2001 APEX Awards for Publication Excellence have been 
announced. Congratulations to:

-George Hayhoe, Editor of _Technical Communication_ who won 
a Grand Award in the category "magazines and journals."

-Russell S. Bombardieri, who won a Grand Award for the 
STC's web site.

-Maurice Martin, editor of the STC's _Intercom_, who won 
and an Award for Publications Excellence in the category 
"magazines and journals printed in four color."

p.s. I also won an Award for Publications Excellence in the 
category "Best Redesign" for my revision of the college 
textbook _Scouting Black Holes: An Introduction to General 
Relativity_ written by Edwin Taylor (MIT) and Archibald 
Wheeler (Princeton) :-)
