Nope, even then. The nice thing about standards, as someone on this list
sigs, is there are so many to choose from. Poor grammar, mis-spellings, and
typos would all be bad things to include in your portfolio, but no one would
expect a portfolio of projects completed at other companies to conform to
the style guide at *this* company. If they query issues of style in any
items in your portfolio, providing (as Bruce said above) you were consistent
in your usage, you can honestly say: "That conformed to the documentation
style in use at the company I worked for then."
