I don't work in a film-related industry at present, but I
have worked for two companies that brought me to varying
levels of intimacy with the film industry. One was a
media asset management software company that was dealing
with clients such as Disney (and that acquired a company
with a tool which had been used in the making of The
Matrix), and one was a DVD rental company, which showed
me quite a different side of the entertainment business.
I'd love to do work even closer to the making of feature
films, but having recently moved further -away- from L.A.,
my chances are probably that much slimmer.
