You may get a better hearing if you present the situation as a choice.
Instead of insisting that no more changes can be made, explain that, if
any more changes are made, you can't make the Friday deadline. Then
explain the work that the changes involve for you. Although the response
may simply be that you'll have to work over-time, the chances are good
that you'll either get a freeze on changes or else more time to complete
the work.
Remember: very few non-writers have a clear idea of what your job is, or
how doing their work can affect yours. If you explain the situation,
then you're more likely to get a favorable response.
