Peer review means politics. In science, it means that a theory (paradigm)
change won't happen until many years after the research. It takes a long
time to convince the peers. The same thing is happening in STC today.

The key to this getting paid situation is to increase the number of grants.
But, how can we do that when we fund scholarship funds for science fair
winners, people that will never become TWs.

TW is a soft science. So regardless of whether you respect that or not, TW
could have a scientific basis. But, then again, there are journals for
literary criticism. Why not just criticize each others work?

And, what about this "fellow" thing? Hey, pay your dues long enough and you
get to be special.

David
