I'm cringing more at "role authorization" than at "gated." That second
sentence sounds pretty stilted and bureaucratic. How about:
"You must have a valid [login | password | fingerprint | whatever] to create
user profiles."
Or:
"Only [authorized users | managers | whatever] can create user profiles."
BTW, if you have any influence over the dialog box names, you might point
out that "Create New ..." is redundant -- unless this system has the amazing
ability to create *old* profiles. ;-)
