Thanks for the comments. What you said makes lots of sense and I'll keep
that in mind for other projects.
I know what this programmer likes, though, and that is a written list of
proposed changes.
As an aside, he also like to then call me up and argue with me about why it
should be done his way (his way includes; blinking text, large red buttons,
too many mislabeled options.)
I understand that arguing is the part of the process that he likes best.
That is fine with me, too. I sometimes like a good argument. After following
this script for about two or three days, he makes two or three of my five or
so changes.
So what I'm looking for is a more formal way of documenting the written
request for changes. What I do now is just e-mail him with things like,
"Remove the teal color from the screen. Remove bold lettering from buttons.
Rename Home Page button, 'Main Menu', etc."
Maybe this is good enough, but if there is a better way of presenting it. .
