Acrobat's text editing capabilities are limited... as you know, the "Touch
Up Text" tool only handles a line at a time. As of Acrobat 4, you can
"insert" a line by holding down Ctrl and clicking. I put "insert" in quotes
because while it allows you to type a line of text at that insertion point,
it doesn't move the other material down to make room for it. If you have
enough white space to sneak in an additional line, it could work, although
it might look a little awkward.

In Acrobat 5 you can save the file as RTF, edit it in Word, and then output
it to PDF from there. Maybe someone with more Acrobat 5 expertise can
suggest other solutions--so far I've just worked with version 4.

PDF is really a destination format--it's not designed for a lot of editing.
If you have the source file, it would be best to make the modification
there and re-create the PDF file from there.
