re: Anthony Svoboda is looking for basic texts to learn HTML, Java, Lotus
Notes, and SQL.
Just on html, once you've found a basic introduction to coding html--and it
will be pretty basic because html is pretty simple--you should then try to
read up on the ergonomics of designing pages for screen viewing. Some of
the white space, bulleted lists stuff that works on paper works there, too,
but there are many things different. Suggest reviewing articles at sites
like http://www.webdevelopersjournal.com/ (especially "Amateur Web Sites
...") http://www.useit.com/alertbox/ etc.
