Hi all,
I'll be starting a new job in about a month and I'd like to get some advice
on what tool(s) to choose for producing quality online help, plus printed
documentation.
I am currently using FrameMaker + WPP for single sourcing documentation, and
it works pretty well. However, each time I want to put information online, I
have to first import it to FrameMaker, then WWP. This process sounds a bit
complex to me.
What are my requirements? Well, I'd like to have a tool enabling me to
easily update my online helps - on a daily basis - and to produce online
help and printed documentation from a single source information. I would not
like to loose all the functionalities provided by FrameMaker?
I thought about buying Epic Editor? but it seems a bit too expensive for my
company?s budget. Is anybody using it?
Anybody can advise me?
Thanking you in advance
Cedric Simard
