I have to mention FileNET www.filenet.com as a document management
solution, since I am a former employee. They use MSSQL or Oracle for the
backend and use a familiar Network Neighborhood type interface on the
client. There is also a web server and workflow component. It just depends
on the size of the organization and budget. If you are looking for storage
and versioning security, you could use Microsoft's Visual SourceSafe or
PVCS.
I don't know anything about TeamRoom or CVS.
