Hello everyone. I was wondering whether anyone has experienced the following
(and knows of a solution):
I am documenting a Web-based application. The application folder contains
all of the original .GIFs.
* I imported some of these GIFs (Insert > Picture) into Visio 2000 (to
create a flowchart-like image that uses some of the application graphics).
* Then, I inserted the image into my Word 2000 document. I tried this
several ways - a simple copy and paste, saving it as an .EMF, saving it as a
.PNG and inserting the picture - all with the same results.
* The images appear blurry in the printed document - whether I print
from Word or print the original from Visio.
I also tried taking a screen capture of the Web-based app to get the images
- same result. And, I printed a page from the actual application, and the
graphics are a bit fuzzy.
Could it be something with the original graphics? Or, is it that I'm dealing
with .GIFs - which I believe are better for viewing online than printing?
This will be delivered in a printed book (as well as PDF and possibly other
formats), so I have to fix this problem rather quickly.
Does anyone have any ideas of how I can resolve this?
Thanks for your help.
