21 KB .exe file

A cautionary note:

This morning I received a 21KB .exe file as an attachment to a message that
cloaked its sender. (That is, it appeared without any information as to who
sent it.) IE 5's "Properties" revealed no information about the sender. The
attached file name was "pomlllpo.exe." I could not find a security warning
about it on Symantec's site, nonetheless its manner of delivery renders it
highly suspicious.

I have no idea if I was targeted for being on the TECHWR-L discussion
mailing list, but am not, with my work e-mail address, on any other
discussion list.

Regards, Alan
