On the contrary. My home machine gets bombarded virtually constantly
through my cable modem. Believe me, there is nothing worth anyone's
trouble on my computer, unless, or course, there is some monetary value
I don't know about in my family history files that. Methinks the bad
guys/gals do it just because they can, and to raise whatever he*$ they
can because they can do it pretty much anonymously.
I use Norton's Personal Firewall and it works great, so far.
