Hi,
I'm fairly new to the world of contracting and have not been able to find much help on contractor rates from the STC salary survey.
That's because it's a salary survey, not a survey of contracting rates.
Check out http://www.stcsig.org/cic/index.html for the STC's Consulting and Independent Contracting SIG. There's an annual survey there of contractor rates.
