As a programmer and a technical writer, I formerly
worked in the Pentagon. I was there during Desert
Storm and we were concerned about the possibility of a
plane veering off the approach route and hitting the
Pentagon. I probably know some people who were there
today, and have not heard of anything.
I'm sure there were at least a few technical writers
in the WTC. Holy crap is the only thing that keeps
reverberating through my mind.
For whatever it's worth, which isn't much, my thoughts
and prayers are with anyone effected by this.
