Geez, never been flamed so hard in all my life.
I do see this as spam. I signed on to this list for technical writing
information. I have been getting emails I didn't ask for from people on
this list airing their personal life publicly. Maybe I'm not patriotic,
maybe I am obtuse, maybe I am a righteous asshole. The fact is that this
content is very appropriate offlist, but not here. Please do not censor
yourselves, or allow me to keep you from grieving. Just do it somewhere
appropriate. This list, as far as I know, should be restricted to technical
writing issues.
And now I, too, will take it offlist. If you wish to flame me further,
please send it directly. Thank you.
