No, you don't have to create the project all over again. The fadeouts should
not affect your printing. Try modifying the existing file to take out a couple
of the fadeouts, then print those slides and see if this changes your printing
problem.

Frankly, I doubt this will fix the problem, which I suspect has more to do with
the resolution of the printer you're using. In particular, inspect the box that
appears when you click File | Print and look for the printer resolution
(probably under Options | Graphics).
