It sounds like the recruiting firm is going overboard to preserve
anonymity. (I assume these resumes also don't contain contact info
for the candidate, as the head-hunter only makes money if you can't
go around them.) I would contact the firm and tell them that their
resumes aren't useful to me, rather than just quietly trashing them.
That gives them the opportunity to improve.

This is also a lesson for job-hunters: if you use a recruiter, make
sure you know how they're presenting you before you commit to anything.
In my last job hunt I rejected two recruiters solely because of what
they did to resumes.
