moving screen capture software?

Is there specialized software to create "moving" screen captures which
could be displayed on the Internet?
For example, if I wanted to illustrate clicking on the Windows Start button
and then on programs and then on a desired program, is there software
to capture not only the screen but the movements of the cursor as I
go through that process?
I've seen this done. I just don't know how it is done ... other than
creating an
actual animation in something like Flash.
