Kim,
Everyone knows that Steve Hudson is the only person on the planet who
successfully uses Master Documents. ;-) Most of us aren't nearly organized
enough, and know they are
Evil. They are dangerous, if not used with extreme consciousness, and (sorry
Steve) it seems to me that a Master Document is best used at the beginning of a
project, when each sub document can be planned and coordinated in advance, and
plugged in where
appropriate. If you have a bunch of documents that have been created over time
by
different people, without a firm hand on the Template, well, it can only end in
tears.
Just my experiencial evidence, of course. Your mileage etc.
