OK. I copyedit the world, too. But my favourites are the malaprops I hear
all the time.

When my husband and I were renting a U-Haul truck, we were advised to get
the insurance, or we would be "100% reliable."

As if that was all it took.

One product manager I worked with explained, "The impetuous for this
project..."
